Named after the great artist, Escher is the first lady to be DDotM. (We’re not sure how that happened?!) The spirited 10 month old German Shorthair Pointer and caretaker Jason often spend quality time at Cafe de Paris. Make sure to say hi!

New Restaurants Debut

The Historic Downtown Culinary Renaissance continues to simmer with two new restaurants set to open early August:

Louisville Gets Lucky
Louisville resident and veteran restaurateur Brendan McManus is bringing a pizza parlour to Downtown. Located in the old post office, the beautifully refurbished Lucky Pie features Colorado’s only Mugliani pizza oven, 21 beers on tap, and a lounge where guests can play vintage video games like PacMan right at their table!

A “Modern Taqueria”
Located on the NW corner of Pine and Main, The Cactus Wheel will offer fare inspired by the street vendors of Mexico and southern California. The revamped architecture of the former autoshop will feature an indoor/outdoor bar. Guests can also look forward to checking out the “hot sauce” wall, showcasing hundreds of different varieties that will get your picante on!
