Friends, Family, Community and the Magic of Live Music
For three or four hours, eight summertime Friday evenings, life is just like it should be. Babies don’t cry, dogs don’t bark, and wise elders feel nineteen again. The Muse visits the musicians pretty much every night and dances when the spirit moves her. We don’t know why this all happens here, we’re just glad it does.
Let’s Get this Party Started! Want to high-step it to the Street Faire with MarchFourth? If so, join us at the corner of Main and Pine at 6:15 and we’ll follow the band to the Steinbaugh. South on Main and right between Bittersweet and Little Horse. Dress up, have fun, but please stay out of the street until it is officially closed, and no alcohol allowed! Schedule: Main Street closure 6:15. Parade starts at 6:25.
Cloggers welcome. This is an encore performance for this great band from Kansas City. The Elders play with passion and power, not to mention a full endorsement from the Muse of the Steinbaugh. Erin go Bragh!
Hey hombres and chicas, how about some rock ’n roll southwestern style? This great band from Tempe combines superb musicianship, crackling riffs and intelligent lyrics to create their own authentic brand of Musico Americana. Note: RCPM will rock rain or shine
Saddle up partner. Junior’s bringing the guit-steel to the Steinbaugh for an evening of Texas roadhouse double neck, cowboy hat, rocket fueled, jump up and down, swing your partner… fun, fun, fun!
The Street Faire runs 5:30–9:30pm.
5:45 — Community Entertainment
7:00 — First Main Stage Band
8:15 — Headliner Band
The Street Faire is at the Steinbaugh Pavilion, 824 Front Street.
There is excellent food, cold drinks, lots of children’s activities, quality arts, crafts, sundries, and, because of our awesome sponsors, this event is FREE!
Rules? We don’t need no stinking rules! Well, actually we do, for courtesy and legal reasons.
PLEASE do not bring alcohol to the Faire—it is illegal and just not faire to the folks bringing you this free event. Alcohol sales fund the Faire!
PLEASE do not carry alcohol outside the Faire boundaries—this is also illegal
PLEASE do not bring your own chairs or blankets anywhere under the tents or under the pavilion
PLEASE park in legal spaces only or you will get towed
PLEASE be courteous of our neighbors! Stay out of yards and gardens and do not leave trash or bodily fluids
The Street Faire is a NO SMOKING event
